Proving Our Worth, The Hard Path To Prosperity

When I am proving to others how cool or great I am I forget to listen. I lose my connection to others and sources greater than myself. Proving is a state of mind that you have to make more effort in order to make an impression onto others or society as a whole. It also comes from a point of view that we are less than someone or something else and we wish to demonstrate that we are equal or better.
From those perspectives proving yourself in this world is created by a misconception that we have to show we are worthy. On an energetic level proving is a force that is coming out of you. For example if a man is trying to impress a woman with stories of what he has accomplished or telling of the great life that he has created it is a stream of energy coming out of him in a pushing fashion. Like a door-to-door salesman who is talking loud and fast at you, they are pushing a sale at you. That is the energy of pushing. As they are talking at you there is a force coming out of their body. You can feel it if you pay attention to it.
It is a common point of view to prove yourself as people that create a competitive atmosphere are generally proving they are better than others. It is a short-term validation that they are worthy. Unfortunately this feeling of completeness does not last because it is not the true energy of wholeness.
On the other side of proving is invitation. Open to life’s possibilities, what it has to offer to you. Living in the point of view that you are whole in this moment and you are ready to receive what life has to offer you. It is awareness, generosity, caring and knowing you deserve to receive.

Thank you for sharing this! It’s amazing how once one becomes AWARE of their actions – how life can so quickly change. People don’t need to prove their worth to other! I was listening to a CD the Jerry Clark Cd and thought this was profound:
Think about what a miracle you truly are. What is the probability of you as a possibility becoming a perception? Pretty deep huh? The average female in her lifetime has 8 sexual partners. That is over 3000 sexual encounters. The average female has 2.5 kids. So think about this. 250 million little critters, going UPSTREAM. Out of 250 million – YOU showed up first. You won your very first race. Every single person is a winner. There are no losers here!

If we could create the freedom in the belief that everything has a possibility of being easier, how many uphill streams would we all not struggle with. Greatness can be done in easier ways and we can all enjoy that kind of prosperity.
